About Us
Derma-Gard is a specialty textile company with technical textile expertise located in Milledgeville, Georgia. The two major principals in Derma-Gard have spent their working lives in the textile industry and both have approximately 40 years of experience.
Paul Doucette, President, is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, with a degree in Textile Technology, and has held senior management positions at Milliken & Company, Texfi Industries, Courtaulds Textiles (UK), and Concord Fabrics and is a Honor Graduate of the United States Army Chemical Warfare School.
We are Americans who are using our experience and expertise in textiles to provide an improved product to better protect American Firefighters.
The principals of Derma-Gard are American born, raised, and educated, veterans of the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps.
We operate Derma-Gard in a hands on fashion to ensure good quality products are produced every day we run our factory.
